The beauty in the print is the appearance of a virgin from the Kansei era (1789-1801), showing her affection to her pet cat, she is depicted with her hair immaculately adorned in her beautiful kimono. From the series, 32 Aspects of Customs and Manners by the woodblock print master Yoshitoshi (1839-1892).
