Shipping & Returns

Delivery times - UK

We ship our postal orders on Monday and Thursday. For the moment, we are not offering express delivery. We aim to dispatch your items within 72 hours of receiving payment. We will always try to get your order to you as soon as possible, and UK customers should allow 3-4 working days from dispatch.

Orders made after 12 noon (GMT) on the shipping days will be sent out on the next shipping day.  If your order for a UK address hasn't arrived within seven working days, please get in touch.

International delivery

If you live outside the UK, please note you may be required to pay local customs or duty charges, so please make sure you understand the fees your country may charge you to receive the items - it is your responsibility to pay these. We reserve the right to cancel any orders we deem necessary where postage cost is unreasonable - please do get in touch if you would like us to make a shipping quote - there is a flat rate £25 shipping rate for orders outside the UK, however we reserve the right to cancel orders where rates are deemed excessive. Currently we only accept international orders of a value of £50 or over. 

United Kingdom standard delivery.

Free on orders over £50. The cost for shipping on all other orders within the UK is £4.50.

Our parcel will usually arrive within 5 working days.

Delivery is via Royal Mail or DPD UK.

Delivery Information

Deliveries made by Royal Mail may require a signature on delivery.

UK bank holidays, Saturdays and Sundays are NOT classed as working days.

Kelvin Apothecary and Kelvin Rooms cannot accept any liability for any delivery instructions which you give to the delivery company. If, for example, you ask the delivery company to leave your order in a different location to the one given at the time of your order (e.g. in a shed or garage, or with a neighbour), we cannot accept responsibility if you fail to receive the order.

For your safety and security we do not currently deliver to collection points such as: PO Boxes, Amazon lockers, Collect Plus, and Parcel Motel. If you nominate a collection point as your delivery address, we cannot accept responsibility if you fail to receive the order.

Online Returns & Refunds

Please return your items within 30 days of your order with us for a full refund. Customers will thereafter have 14 days to return the goods once we have been notified.

Orders that have been returned because the orders haven’t been called for, refused, or have an incorrect address, will be refunded minus the original shipping cost. We will send returns payments via the same method used when creating the order. Refunds can take up to 14 days to process and show in your account.


Delivery addresses are entered by the customer, therefore we accept no responsibility for wrongly stated addresses. If the wrong address is entered and the parcel is delivered, we can not resend the order. If the parcel is returned, we can resend if the customer is happy to pay for the cost of redelivery.

Please notify us within 24 hours of receiving your order if you have any queries regarding your order.

If you wish to return a product please email us. We are only able to accept items up to 14 days from when the order has been placed. Please note, personal care items will not be refundable or returnable.
