This shower brush from Iris Hantverk is made from in oil-treated sustainable EU oak and horsehair/tampico. The bristles are an excellent material for bathing brushes because of its pliability and durability. Along with a good quality soap, this will give a soft and comfortable lather for a perfect cleanse. Allow the brush to dry hanging up or standing on the bristles allowing the moisture to dry out from the wood. This will allow the brush to dry for many years of continued enjoyment.
Dry Skin Brushing
Use as a dry skin brush, brushing gently towards the heart. Dry brushing can help remove dead skin cells and unclog pores. Dry brushing may also help improve blood circulation, which can help with muscle recovery, as well as helping to promote lymphatic drainage, which could help remove toxins from the body.
These brushes are hand-made by a visually impaired team of skilled artisans. This scheme helps build lives for the visually impaired in Sweden and Estonia.

Iris Hantverk Brush Makers
In the late 1900s century, a small brush manufacturer started out in Stockholm. It was a successful movement so successful that it remains today. Now, as then, every brush is made by hand by visually impaired craftsmen.
All brushes are of exclusive design, and built to last.
We want your handmade brushes to continue being a joy to use a long time to come. With a little simple care, they will age beautifully. Clean the brushes with washing-up liquid and warm water. Let them dry thoroughly between uses bristles down, and from time to time oil the wood. We recommend a food grade oil or cold pressed boiled linseed oil that applies with a cloth. If linseed oil is used make sure to rinse the cloth properly in water to avoid that it catches fire. Let the oil soak well into the wood before using the brush again.
