Make baking even more fun with this durable and stylish flour brush from Iris Hantverk. This brush goes very nicely with the dough scraper and pastry brush in the same range.

Birch wood and horse hair. Can be used to spread the flour evenly over the baking board, removes excess flour from the bread and the work surface. Since horsehair is heat resistant it can be used in the oven.

Iris Hantverk Brush Makers

In the late 1900s century, a small brush manufacturer started out in Stockholm. It was a movement so successful that it still remains today. Now, as then, every brush is made by hand by visually impaired craftsmen.

All brushes are of exclusive design, and built to last.

We want your handmade brushes to last. With a little simple care, they will age beautifully. Clean the brushes with washing-up liquid and warm water. Let them dry thoroughly between uses bristles down, and from time to time oil the wood. We recommend a food-grade oil. Let the oil soak well into the wood before using the brush again.

Beautifully functional

Not cheap for a dish brush, but the shape and the bristles are just the right density and stiffness for cleaning the inside of glasses and mugs. A quick twizzle and coffee and tea stains are swiftly removed from the inside of mugs. Even the stains that the dishwasher won’t shift. It has a lovely tactile quality and also looks good next to the sink. Very happy customer.
