Endlessly versatile, the peshtemal can be used indoors or out as beach or bath towels, as well as scarves, throws, wraps or even as a knotted bag or table linen. It is truly a multi-purpose ethical product with a rich lineage deeply rooted in the Turkish way of life.

Vintage-inspired the Bergama is a beautifully simple flat-woven cotton peshtemal traditionally loomed in a cream weft with black stripes. It is hand finished with a knotted fringe.

This hammam towel is both lightweight and quick drying. The size of a standard bath sheet it rolls down to about a quarter of the size (making it the much more sustainable alternative to a conventional western towel) and it looks great draped on you or in your bathroom.
