This piece is designed and made at the Dai kiln in Gifu prefecture, Japan.

13 x 12cm diameter 5.5cm height Made of 'Minoyaki' porcelain, fired at a high temperature and hand finished at the Dai kiln in Gifu prefecture, Japan.

With a focus on simplicity, imperfection, and natural beauty, Japanese pottery has become renowned for its unique style, stunning designs, and rich history. There are many unique styles and techniques that have been developed and passed on through the generations. From the vibrant colors of Kutani ware to the intricate designs of Imari ware, the Japanese pottery craft is rich and diverse and has captivated audiences around the world.  
 
Our Japanese pottery is sourced from tiny, often family-run kilns in the Gifu prefecture.
