Working under the name Prints by the Bay, illustrator & printmaker Nicole Purdie creates beautiful, thought-provoking and emotionally engaging linocuts handmade on the Dorset coast. Her collection of prints & cards are lovingly created using ethically sourced materials and methods.
Her work is quirky and unique, examining femininity, empowerment, sisterhood & family connection whilst interspersed with ideas of climate change, nature, love and fragility. Her work celebrates and champions womanhood in all its glory; creating imagery that appeals to the modern, independent woman that connects on both an emotional and aesthetic level.
